 About Me |
20-year-old Vietnamese-Canadian, aspiring change-maker, and life-time wanderer. Part-time pessimist, full-time idealist. A hearts-based, arts-based anti-oppression facilitator; sexual health youth educator; literacy tutor for immigrant and refugee children; and a coordinator for a media-deconstructing, girls-empowerment intensive education program. Also an amateur-documentary film-maker, closet-writer, future progressive journalist, and a soon-to-be social-justice activist.
I'd like to say I'm an artist, by my own definition. I am many pieces of a puzzle that is not meant to fit. I like to look for the awe-inspiring in life; it inspires me. But really, I'm just a second year dialogue student with many interests, scattered strengths, and a deep passion for life and social change.
