About Me

Hello World! I am currently a student at UCLA majoring in physiological sciences. I am part of the Premedical chapter of the American Medical Students Association (AMSA) there and am currently the Global Health Action Committee Chair as well as the Global AIDS Project Director. Under the Global Health Action Committee I was able to work with a wonderful group of people planning and executing the Global Health Fair that we have at UCLA every year. It was a wonderful experience and we were able to raise money for charity and increase awareness about issues going on in the world related to global health and human rights. I personally focused on the issue of hunger and famine in North Korea. Did you know such a problem existed? I didn't until I got involved, and have learned a bunch of stuff about North Korea that I had been clueless about. Go check it out if you are interested, just do a search for Liberty in North Korea.

Also, as Global AIDS Project Director, I will be leading our team of walkers this year at AIDS Walk Los Angeles 2008 this upcoming Fall! It is going to be awesome, and hopefully we raise even more money this time!

Just a random fact: My favorite vegetable is asparagus. Hahaha =D.
