About Me

Hello everyone!

My name is Aryan and I am the Online and Community Volunteer Management Assistant. Please don't be shy if you need any assistance let me know. I am a psychology student and finally finished my minor in sociology at Ryerson University. At the moment I am working on finishing my psychology degree. My aim is to go for my masters in community psychology.

My involvement in the non-profit organizations started when I was in high school. A few examples of organizations that I have volunteered for are Amnesty International (secretary in my high school for the organization), Cancer Society, Lung's Association, Ryerson Women's Center and VAST program. At the moment I am taking a course which will allow me to go to New Orleans to help make homes for the survivors of Hurricane Katrina. Topics that I am very passionate about are violence against women and children, women issues, psychological illness, homelessness, community development, substance abuse (addiction), cognition, social issues, human rights, health and wellness.

I have a tendency to write a lot once I start so I will end it here.
