He represented the Philippines twice in United States of America for the Student Cultural Exchange and Travel Program under the US Department of State along with international students. He served as Guest Service Ambassador at Busch Gardens Europe in Williamsburg, Virginia from March 15-July15, 2006 and had been a Human Resources Assistant at Busch Gardens Africa/Adventure Island in Tampa, Florida from March 10-July 10, 2007. Arvy also joined international conferences such as the International Business Summit 2007 at Embassy Suite, Tampa Florida last May 2007, USA National Student Conference 2006 held at Marriott Hotel, Washington DC United States of America in July 2006. He was the only Asian delegate among the international delegates of the Campus Progress and The Nation Campus Journalism Conference held at Washington DC in June 2006 . In January 24-29, 2007, he was with the other 8 Filipino students who attended the Asian Youth Forum 2007 held at the Queens Imperial Hotel at Bangkok, Thailand where he was elected as the Country Representative for the Philippines. In July 2007, he was awarded the FEWS SPIRIT 2007 Award given by the organizers of the Future Entrepreneurs of the World Summit 2007 held at Macquarie University in Sydney Australia. Arvy who was once the 2002 Outstanding Bicolano Campus Writer, is a consistent winner in campus journalism since elementary grades until at present both in news writing, poetry writing, and copyreading and headline writing. Currently he is the PHILS Country Representative of the The Asian Youth Forum International and at the same time the Country Director of the Asian Youth Forum Philippines. As an alumnus and lone delegate of the Philippines for the FEWS 2007 in Australia, he is now the Philippines FEWS Ambassador for the Future Entrepreneurs of the World Summit 2008 to be held in Stockholm, Sweden in 2008. Arvy who speaks basic Thai, intermediate Spanish, fluent English and Filipino loves to travel and is looking forward to his international conferences. He has a very mature outlook for such a young man and looks forward to experiencing different cultures.
