International Work Camp for Youth Participation in Social Development USSHA Foundation in collaboration with Youth Managed Resource Center(YMRC), Sankhu is organizing a seven days 'Youth Work Camp for Social Development' from November 17-23, 2008 in a rural village of Nepal among the youth from grassroots to national level and international youth as mentor participants. USSHA Foundation decided to organize International Work-camp after the successful completion of National Work-camp for Youth Participation in Social Development in Rivan, Kaski (remote village of western Nepal) from 1-5 August, 2008. This work camp is mainly focused on youth empowerment through knowledge-information-skills (KIS) sharing and generating the productive participation of them for sustainable social development. At the end of the work camp, the participants will design an Aggregated Youth Club Action Plan (AYCAP), as the rural youth participants will be from local youth clubs, which will provide sustainability for the program. This AYCAP will be supported by the fund generated for the program. The work camp is envisioned to start a work-camp campaign in Nepal which will assist in promoting and powering the 'Sustainable, Equitable and Self-Reliant Social Development Actions'.
