 About Me |
Annelies Mesman is a dedicated advocate for young people’s sexual health and rights. She is the West European Focal Point for GYCA and a member of the board of CHOICE for youth and sexuality, a youth organization based in the Netherlands. In this capacity, she has championed young people’s health and rights at the United Nations and with the European Parliament. At the XVII International AIDS Conference held in Mexico City in 2008, she served as the youth rapporteur, reporting on young people’s involvement and issues at the conference and presenting summary conclusions at the closing plenary. Currently she’s a graduate student bio-medical sciences at the Amsterdam Free University.
