Following this she was elected internally to be the Procedures Group Representative (Cabinet member) for the London Region, where she took the views and opinions onto a national level. Angela was also part of Hounslow Youth Council and has spoken at a conference with the Children's Commissioner for England, Al Aynsley-Green. Her passion for youth activism was heightened when she was elected in the global organisation of "Glocal Youth Parliament" to represent the city of London as the first ever female delegate. She attended their 5th annual conference entitled "The Meeting of the Civilisations" where she spoke infront of mayors of all the major international cities. Currently Angela is a part of UK Youth and holds the position of Trustee. She continues to expand her activism bases both nationally and internationally. She also holds a position on the International Youth Council as Director of Projects from the United Kingdom. Angela has currently returned from New York where she held an activism and action workshop that inspired youth leaders across the globe and developed communication tools to help them stay in contact and show them how to make international projects happen. It was entitled the "The UN Youth Assembly and You" and received a positive feedback from those who attended. Angela aspires to become an international activist and advisor after completing her Politics degree from the University of Nottingham.
