After touring as professional background vocalist for some of Reggae’s top performing artists such as Maxi Priest and Diana King to name a few, Angel views this year as a time for something different. “ I have gone through quite some changes and life turning experiences; I now look at life as simply put; a creation of what we want it to be and I’ve decided that as one of my personal sayings I take unto myself the phrase, no regrets because whatever I have done that I am not happy with I will now accept as a learning experience and appreciate all I encounter today….as for tomorrow…..I will wait and see.” The long awaited album mostly lyrically scripted by Angel features the musical artistry of people such as, Benji Myers, Paul Kastick, Dean Fraser, Sly Dunbar amongst other maestros, will get it’s first and official launch in Jamaica later on this year. This entire project was mostly produced and compiled by Bass Player 'Lyndon 'Ace' Webb for Squaw Records™. With a few singles under belt including her latest release "WHEN YOU'RE READY" (Ruff Cutt – UK ; also featured on Jetstars ‘Pure Lovers Vol.14) and ‘Love of a Lifetime’, Angel is already getting rave reviews from radio disc-jocks and journalist about how they absolutely love the songs and look forward to hearing more of her works. There are many facets to this beautiful young woman and her ultimate ambition is to channel the energy of her words through the songs she writes and to let you into her world to see the magic of being "JUST ME". Angel entered the entertainment world at the age of five, when she walked onto the stage at the Shaw Park Beach Hotel in St. Ann, Jamaica and won the hearts and minds of the audience in what was the first of many competitions. At the age of 13, Angel won the title of "Miss Hal Jackson Talented Teen (Jamaica)" and shared the stage with artists such as "Boys II Men," "A. B. C." and "Melba Moore" at the Apollo theatre in New York, she was subsequently featured in a program shown on BBC television "BEST OF THE APOLLO." Having been a find of Frankie Campbell head of ˜The Fab Five' and 'Unique Vision Band' and managed by mom Grace Peynado for years Angel’s unique and unmatched feel allowed her to have achieved being the first child performer to perform such fetes as the 'The Grand Gala' (National Stadium), Season of Excellence 'Pepperpot' (The Ward Theatre), The National Costume Show ( The National Arena), Keys To The City (Farewell ceremony to outgoing American Ambassador, Micheal Sithoros) and 'Miss Lou and Friends' to name a few. In 1994 she entered the National song competition alongside 'Horace and Kulcha Knox with 'Jamaica Land We Love and were runners up in the finals. This young song-stress has worked alongside international acts such as Nahki, Damian and Julian Marley, Anthony B, The Gladiators, Maxi Priest, The Wailers Band and Diana King amongst many other talented and well known known Jamaican performers whilst working on recordings of her own. Focusing on lyrical content, one of her quotes read, "Being able to write emotions, which will inspire someones soul, is the greatest gift anyone can give to another." With such emotion, natural talent and mystical energies, Angel is definitely geared toward success. Singer, songwriter, award winning poet and freelance writer Angel indulges in the artistry of creation from all the angles she can handle. A 2001 'CAMY nominee Angel, is also featured on the '1000 Women of MP3', Booty Hunter, Beautiful Women of MP# and Ragga Radio. Her debut album 's been streaming constantly on local and international radio including web broadcasts; it. The album is a mixture of Reggae, R&B and Lovers-Rock; a real radio treat. A great singer whose career is really fresh and slowly taking strides to launch her as one of the world's premier recording and performing artist in music.
