Former captain of the Canadian National Debate Team and Top 20 under 20 Finalist, Andrew is a Millennium scholar at the University of Toronto pursuing an undergraduate degree in Peace and Conflict Studies and Writing and Rhetoric. He is the 2008/2009 President of the University College Residence Council, and Coordinates the High School Program at Journalists for Human Rights (www.jhrschools.com).
Andrew has had a range of past employers, from serving coffee at Starbucks, to coaching debate at Branksome Hall School in Toronto, Canada, to street performing in his home town of Vancouver, British Columbia.
Andrew also runs a non-profit organization, Dialogue and Debate Inc., which promotes global and cultural awareness, as well as activism and understanding, through integrating dialogue and debate into the classroom (www.dialogueanddebate.com).
