 About Me |
I am 16 years old and live in winnipeg, manitoba. I am interested in world issues, volunteerism and human rights. I am involved in high school debate, both nationally and internationally, and hope to study law, speciallizing in human rights or international law. I would like to run for public office, or work for an NGO like the UN.
I have started a program to teach elementary school students about activism. We study debate and public speaking [a passion of mine] and learn about global issues. All participants work within the community on special projects which i oversee. I hope that some will become inspired enough to continue their involvement after the program is finished.
