About Me

I am a graduate of MSc. Strategic Studies from University of Aberdeen. Researched on PEACE and Post - Conflict Reconstruction with regards to Military and Humanitarian Interventions and Global Security. Also interested in UN Chater, International Law, Human Rights Law and Grassroot development initiatives. I have been trained by World Bank Institute on Capacity Development on Youth Organizations, Beyound Economic Growth (BEG), Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). I have also undergone trainings with British Council on Public Speaking, Networking and International Communication. I have been involed in NGO community development activities for the past 8 years starting with Youths for Transparency International and now with Catherine Street Community Centre. Re-building confidence in youths for development is very important to me and I love to work with young people. In 2003, I initiated a structure that saw trauncy reduced from over 80 percent to less than 20% within six months in a remote Secondary School in Igbanke, Edo State, Nigeria. I am currently involved in activities that enable young people in Aberdeen to rediscover the value of education and I have a testimony of a guy who has started college for the first time.
