I am a seventeen year old senior at Miami-Palmetto Senior High in Miami, Florida, USA. I have been actively involved with not-for-profit fundraising since the age of eight. I have personally raised over $50,000 for research, educational programs and education. I run a nationally recognized program called PositivePacks. It provides bright colored, sturdy backpacks filled with electronic games, books, toys and other specially selected items to hospitals and clinics to help ease the pain and anxiety the child cancer patient can experience while undergoing chemotherapy treatment. PositivePacks addresses the emotional needs of the child patient and hopes to help ease the stress and anxiety that often accompanies treatment.
