Sobre Mim

I'm the founder of an organization called J.U.M.P. (juveniles use media power) to Change the World. The goal of JUMP is for teens in developed countries to partner with teens in developing countries to create media projects that will raise awareness of critical challenges they face and improve their lives. 2005-06 is Year 1 for JUMP. We are focusing on AIDS awareness in Africa. Our JUMP members from Hawaii will be traveling to Kenya for the entire month of July 2006 to create media projects with Kenyan teens: videos, photo collages, podcasts, blogs, newspaper, and add to our website. We will distribute the projects as widely as possible to increase awareness for the AIDS crisis in Africa. We hope awareness will be followed by action. Our motto: learn about it, think about it, then do something about it.
