When you start asking yourself questions about the world you live in, one of all this questions comes out: What do we live for? Or what is our final goal? Religion tried to help us by saying: just be good and you’re going to go to heaven. The only truth is that we all want to be happy, all of us, but someone, a day, decided to create something that made that goal harder to reach: money.

You all, well most of all, come in this world the same way or from the same idea: your parents, one day, decided to get a baby. At this part, you’re all equal; you’re all growing up the same way until you get that first breath on earth. Then, you automatically, without any choices, enter in a race against money. First, your parents send you to school, where, after a lot of education, you finally get a job. The problem is, in our society, the fact that even if you’re all equal at the beginning, you all depend on your parents and on their money. In general, if they can’t pay your school, you won’t get education, and then you won’t get a good job. After that, you won’t be able to pay the school for your child and then, the cycle continues. Even if those “poor” people work hard, money is a handicap to a happy and good life. Money isn’t the answer to happiness, no, but it’s a strong weapon because everything depends on it and that’s what should be changed. The world wouldn’t be a better place without money, but money should be used more like communist than capitalist. Even if we changed and evolved through the years, from animals to humans, it seems like we didn’t really change at all; we still try to survive alone, we still kill, we still die, and so we’re still egoist. Life is a race against money in which you never see the end. That piece of paper created unfairness, which made happiness harder to reach.

What is important, is to be conscientious about this unfairness. If you can realize how lucky you are by getting education without asking yourself if you’re still going to be able to “live” tomorrow, then, you might look at the world by a different angle and you will be able to appreciate each moment of your life.
