I'm best experienced in person but this will have to do!
With some friends at University I helped set up a student group (Student Alliance for Progression) that furthers the outreach of the Pachamama Alliance's symposium (www.pachamama.org).
I plan to set up chapters of this student group at universities across the globe. Once educated, inspired, empowered, organised and networked these people will have more of a say in the decisions now being made that will dictate the quality of the world we inherit.
Through groups such as this I want to develop entrepreneurial ways to facilitate a paradigm shift of how humans see and interact with Earth and all it's inhabitants. The work of the Pachamama Alliance seems like a powerful way to do this.
To relax, I skydive! For me the sport gives me the biggest adrenalin rush with next to no risk of injury! It also gives you the most beautiful perspective on the world below. I enjoy the mind-over-matter element to the sport too.
If you can feel the fear of sticking your head out of the plane door at 13,000ft (4km) before jumping anyway then what else is there in the world that you aren't capable of doing?
