About Me |
I hate talking about myself and writing bios but for the sake of Oxfam...here goes.
I lived, for the first four years of my life in the Caribbean after which my family and I moved to Port Hood, a "town" of 400 people on Cape Breton Island. I love Cape Breton and it was a fabulous place to grow up but it's nice to be in Sackville, New Brunswick (where I attend Mount Allison) because there are many more things happening and numerous ways to get involved. Previously, I had done a lot of work with Gaelic culture, Amnesty, Highland dancing, and establishing a youth health center in my school. Mount A has offered me a change of pace and the ability to do more work with social justice.
