About Me

Afrogroov is the brainchild of DJ ERIC SOUL, widely recognise as a leading force and one of the best Afro Urban DJs in the UK scene. Born in Rwanda and raised in Belgium, Soul is a pioneer of building bridges between various cultures in clubland. His showmanship, amazing technique and cutting edge mixing over live international artists, with the added twist of social awareness, make AFROGROOV a unique experience, as attested by regular clubnights throughout London and one-off spectacular shows at festivals worldwide. Thanks to his infectious enthusiasm, unstoppable inspiration, charisma and experience, Soul is increasingly invited to share his vision and knowledge at youth workshops. He is currently developing his own unique concept in presenting workshops/conference for both youth and professionals.
From small clubs to major festivals, AFROGROOV brings a unique vibe — a delightful finger-on-the-pulse fusion of sounds and rhythms.

MUSIC STYLE:
A mix and blend of upfront urban beats and melodic global grooves from the past, present and beyond…Coming from a hiphop background, E.S style include the technical aspect of mixing which add a unique visual value to his DJ shows.
