自我介绍

I will be a freshman student in the University of California- San Diego where I wish to pursue a major in Economics and minor in Political Science and Spanish this Fall. By leaving my small town of Delano and reside in La Jolla, a few minutes away from San Diego, I will be closer to the social events that Taking It Global supports. By this I wish to be more active as a member.

As I resided in Delano CA, I have successfully become a part of my community by volunteering my time to make a difference. The local library had awarded me a scholarship for being an active volunteer as well as the National Honor Society, which has given me the Service Award. Here in my town is where I learned to love the leadership role, and became the people’s president by dedicating my time to help. Here I learned that in order to live and find meaning in once life, is to “give a portion of myself” to the people around you.
