 About Me |
I grew up in country Victoria, and went to a public school. I didn't become motivated until the last few years of high school, and ended up doing ok. I was female dux of the school with an ENTER of 98.0 (out of 100).
I didn't know what I wanted to do, but I got into law school, so I went. I couldn't afford to go to university and pay for food and accommodation myself, so after the first 6 months I went off-campus and worked for Corrections as a Parole Officer. I completed by law degree in 4 1/2 years.
I did my articles with the firm I'm currently with, and got admitted to practice on 19 Feb 2008.
I've just started my degree in Accounting through Open University.
I still don't know what I want to do with my life.
I'm also in the process of starting a business, which will use some of my knowledge as an environmental lawyer - carbon trading.
Oh ... and I did my Certificate IV in Fitness straight after finishing my degree. For a whilst I was taking 7 aerobics classes per week. Now I'm back down to 2 a week - one yogalates class, and one spin class.
