About Me

Hello, my name is Abigale (Abby) Mckinnon. I am currently living in Campbell River, British Columbia Canada on Vancouver Island. I have two sisters Becky (15) and Ginger (5), as well as multiple step-sisters, due to living in a blended-family. I have a cat (Fatfull), a dog (Clarice) and a hamster (Shrinky-Dink), all of which were named by my youngest sister Ginger. I am working at White Spot restaurant as a server, where I've been for about two years now, which is also as long as I've been living here on the Island. Before living is Campbell River, I was in Prince Rupert, which is a very small town in Northen BC. Despite being raised in BC, I was actually born in Ontario where half my family, including my father resides. The other half beingin Quebec. Due to my mothers side of the family being French speaking, I am fluent in it, and have been bilingual for as long as I can remember. I feel as though this trip will be an unreal experience and will be forever life changing. The new outlook on life that going to Latin America will provide will be amazing in every way and will give me the chance to learn more about the world and it's issues.
