My name is Aaron Newton, and I work for the Sydney web design firm Demonz Media. My interests include the logistics for bringing computer networks to developing nations for education, and the development of accessible web content.
I believe the internet can either have a viral effect on users young and old to make a world wide community which benefits everyone, but at the same time it is the greatest medium for hyper-consumerism. I think forums like this one are important to remind us that networks like this exist for the open distribution of information, and that just by taking a different attitude to global issues we can create a more positive outlook for world learning.
