Hello! My name is Andie!

I am a 21 year old International Development and Globalization student at the University of Ottawa, located in Canada's capital city!

I am extremely passionate about my studies. After my undergrad, I hope to pursue Medical School and eventually become a pediatrician who works in developing countries with Doctors Without Borders, the Red Cross, secular NGO etc... I truly believe that health and education are the great equalizers in the realm of development.

-- My Project --

I am about to embark on a 2-month journey to work with ZANGOC (Zanzibar NGO Cluster) on the island of Zanzibar, Tanzania! I will be doing this on behalf of the CIDA sponsored organization Youth Challenge International as a Youth Ambassador!

I look forward to gaining hands-on experience in the field which I hope to build my career in. It will be a truly eye-opening, humbling and beautiful experience.

As part of our journey, we are fundraising for YCI to support and sustain their partner organizations in Tanzania so that they can continue their great work in the areas of education, health and youth leadership.
