I am Allan Roy Uy from the Philippines. I graduated from college last March 2005, obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and Human Resources Development. I will be pursuing Masters in English Language and Literature in the hopes of becoming an educator. As a college student, I had been relatively active with extra-curricular activities dealing with advocacy and consciousness enhancement, be it under Politics, Environment, Education, etcetera. I hail from the province of Zamboanga del Norte in Dipolog City, Mindanao region. I have studied Computer Engineering for 2 years at the University of San Carlos - Technological Center, Cebu City in the Visayas region before I transferred to San Beda College in Manila, National Capital Region. I have settled in the 3 unique and major regions of the Philippines, further broadening my perception on a myriad of things. I have a lot of interests: I love Creative Arts, Journalism, Music, Nature-Tripping, Food, Entertainment, Cultures, Languages, and I am afraid it is too many to mention (It would take me a day, believe me) =) I try to be as optimistic as I can be rooting on idealism and realism; and a promoter of a paradigm that men and nations have the power to settle matters at will. I may sound too serious, but I believe in humour and the infective power of laughter. As they say, insanity is hereditary...you inherit it from your friends. That makes me simply crazy as well--in a good way. TIG is a community of leaders believing in unity in diversity. I have joined, because of my ambitions...dreams...mission...and vision. I am simply Taking It Global! =)
