Background Youth are the potential force and carries some productive quality to do some positive action in their society. Youth always spend their time on transitional age. They have lots of burden and responsibilities on their soldier. They use to think lots of things and alternatives to make their better future and to do some imperative thing than others. Sometime they become more ambitious and some time more frustrate due to their age factor. They have to think about their better career and the same time they should be sincere for their nation and the community. They do not want to compromise to other besides their ideas that they have taken in their mind. These emotional things some time make them highly capable and some time destroy their life. These are the general features of common youths. Youths around the world are facing various kinds of problem. The issues are different in different regions and with socio- economic, cultural and political background. In the case of Nepalese youth it has found more vulnerable situation. They are back in every aspect of this life. Education, health, security, employment and access on resources are some of the major challenges of Nepalese youth. But if we classify their major challenges we find that Nepalese youth have lack of information, lack of involvement and the lack of opportunity. In this scenery a group youth representing from various educational background, professional background, ethnicity and geographical region of Nepal have initiated to form a new organisation to address the current youth issue. The proposed youth organisation “Youth Action in Nepal” (YOAC-Nepal) ultimately has established to enhance youth involvement in the nation building process. Introduction Youth Action in Nepal is a non-profit youth organization run and led by the youth and mostly for the youth. Youth Action in Nepal provides a platform for the youth to help them develop themselves and make necessary positive changes in the societies and communities they live. Our organization works for the youth as they lack access to the information, knowledge and skills in many areas that would affect them. Youths have potential and ideas but they lack orientation. So, we are here to help them out to provide them with the appropriate materials and tools required. Our Vision Youth Action in Nepal envisages the youth as potential members of the society. They need to be involved, respected and listened to because their opinion makes a difference. Ultimately Youth in Action is involved to enhance the life of the members in the society, which would make a positive impact to the society. If we dream for a future where respect, love, freedom and peace are the prevailing culture, we should start acting together and empower each other. Our Mission Youth Action in Nepal intends to make the youth involve in all types of development programs of themselves as well as their communities. Youth Action in Nepal Realise its responsibility to raise voice for human rights and good governance in the grassroots, national and international level. Youth Action in Nepal works for the development of the Information Communication Technologies (ICT). Youth Action in Nepal is here to empower the young people by imparting required skills and provide them opportunities for their development. Youth Action in Nepal encourages youth to utilise their time for volunteer activities that would help them in their personal development as well as enable them to make positive contributions for the society. Youth Action in Nepal works for the national, regional and global issues of youth and are interested in forming a network with other organizations working for the same cause. Youth Action in Nepal would like to develop as a national youth leadership training institute. Goal The goal of this organisation is to prepare youth leaders in the grassroots, national and international level. YOAC-Nepal affiliated youth leaders ultimately will establish as an alternative leader in the social, economic and political arena of the country.
