About Me

The Youth Associates Initiative of Tanzania has been formed in 2000 when the association of pre and university students who resides in Kilombero District Morogoro, Tanzania came together to form a group whose main aim was to support their young brothers and sisters in Kilombero District to improve their academic performance through provision of tuitions with free of charge.
To date The Youth Associates Initiative of Tanzania has legally being registered in June 2009 as a Non Governmental Organization under the Tanzania ordinance act rules of 2004 and issued with the registration certificate No 00NGO/00003186 with some of the following objectives;

1) Educate Tanzanians regardless of their education levels, origin and nature that they have all the resources needed for self employment and creation of jobs necessary for raising individuals’ standards of living and boost national economy;

2) Promote awareness that employment opportunities are there, either by self creation or from available employers and present employment opportunities;

3) Provide free HIV/AIDS education for people;

4) Provide free consultation and services for People Living With HIV/AIDS;

5) Conduct research on causes, effects and most effective means of protection against the spread of the pandemic HIV/AIDS;

6) Conduct fundraising campaigns to fund and support association’s activities;

7) Provide free and most effective HIV/AIDS education for HIV/AIDS vulnerable groups;

8) Promoting the Rights of Children and Gender Equity

The creation of this organization now, will bring together the strengths, values and resources of many different individuals, organizations, affected individuals and all other parts of the community, is a milestone in transforming and changing the way our society responds to spread of HIV/AIDS and unemployment crisis and support to our nation.
