youth group established on 22nd February 2011 with the mandate of improving the lives of the youths by providing multiple faces of youths livelihoods by fostering change amongst the youths,it seeks to inspire,build and motivate the youths towards a common goal for appreciable change,by providing information and strategic support to youths in Kenya,providing the necessary care and support for the street children,orphans and vulnerable children(OVCs),reducing gender inequality through women empowerment,increasing HIV/AIDS awareness prevention,care for the disabled and contribute to environmental protection. It aims at fostering self develompment skills in potential youth enterprises and expanding self-opportunities for the youths in Kenya. It is a legal registered youth group with the ministry of gender,children and social development with a valid registration certificate number 142710 and its licensed to operate as a youth group in its particular areas of interests and intervation meeting all the legal requirements. Tuungane Youth Group seeks to foster a commitment to young people that will promote change,pro-social friendships, and strong interpesonal Skills thereby building peace and unity. By reasserting a sense of hope in the future. Only through inter-personal relationships can a sense of individual responsibility be reastablished that will give youths the commitment to follow through on a process to che the situation herewith around us with a sense of pride and accomplishment. Though there have been repeated failures by the government to intergrate the youths properly by granting their basic needs for business and academic success,social and infrastructural needs are depleted so also is unemployment rising crime rates at some poing a lot of youths have lose faith in the possible that awaits them. We believing that accomplishing this goal is not for minority,but its for all of us irrespective our tribe,religion,gender,physical ability,educational background and colour by giving opportunity for young people to articulate themselves,their pains,grievances,their success and their accomplishment through recreating an environment that promotes best efforts and reinforces personal respects. Tuungane Youth Group is in direct respone to the growing number of young people that have lost hopes that a great future is bleak but our reaffirmed commitment is we are hope for the future,tomorrow belongs to those who prepared for it today and we should lead a life of legacy. The goal of the group is to identify youths that are strong-willed and passionate to create the drive for enabling change and also offer a positive support to avoid pitfalls that can derail our lives and that of our nation. The focus is slightly different at each level but the goal remains the same;empower young people to make positive change in life as well as communities.
