 About Me |
From my late teens through late twenties I spent a lot of time studying, traveling, and working abroad. I studied international relations and Spanish in college and have seen the difficult realities of both urban and rural poverty in Latin American. I have also spent time with migrant farm workers in the U.S.
Much of my work has involved chidren, either directly or indirectly. I have spent a lot of time in classrooms as well as in outdoor recreational settings. I have also worked in public television developing both web and video materials for teachers and parents. I have also written 20 chidlren's books for K-6 classrooms. More info is on my web site.
My true passion is global education and I'm looking to get connected with people, publishers, and organizations with similiar interests. I want to work directly with children/youth as well as develop products/materials for a variety of media platforms. Drop me a line!
