About Me

Terresa Augustine has been leading and coaching individuals, communities and organizations from present to preferred position for 20 years. A visionary with creative and strategic thinking talent; her research, development and change management work focuses on building leadership capacity and possibility in organizations, communities, across multi-disciplinary and cross-sector relationships.

Areas of specialization include: leadership in a cross-cultural context, leadership development, community capacity building, and organization development.

Her transformational leadership style is enhanced with an MA in Leadership from Trinity Western University, undergraduate studies in business and adult education and strong communication, administrative and technical competencies. Terresa has served as a managing director, executive director, board member, adviser, advocate, facilitator and consultant for profit and non-profit organizations. In 2008, Terresa published her Masters’ thesis Defining Leadership in a Cross-Cultural Context.In 2010, in partnership with Dr. Tim McIntosh, released a comprehensive review of leadership in Canada as part of a multi-year, multi-phase research project on Leadership in Canada.

Terresa shares her time between Nevada and British Columbia, manages a research and consulting practice, is a board member for the Union Gospel Mission, and volunteer advisor for Canadian Executive Service Organization international development activities. Her practice adheres to the code of professional conduct set out by the principles of servant leadership and the Canadian Association of International Development Consultants (CAIDC).
