About Me

Nothing beats learning something new and passing it on (well, maybe some things beat that). Recently I backpacked around South America (Arg, Brazil, Peru, Boliva) and saw total different worlds to mine and learnt some Spanish along the way. It really opened my mind, I could not believe the poverty, like little kids begging on the streets by the dozen, homeless people and prostitution - I could not even comprehend what life is like for some of these people. By the the end of the trip I had fun but felt empty that I did not help out. South America has such beauty in it's land and people - I saw a combination of happiness, death, hunger in the people's eyes which I could not ignore. That is what my drive is now, to finish university, use my mind not material things (besides money to travel) and help out communities as I travel. Next destination is Asia, hopefully Africa then South America. I love to write (completing media/creative writing at uni) and aim to complete an International English Teaching certificate (ESL). I learn things quickly and will take these skills around the world with me. I don't expect it do be all fun, but hard work and don't care if I even help clean toliets on volunteer programs (depends on what toilets, ha ha). I'm not with any organistations as yet and need some guidence on the best way to put myself out there and help some injustices and poverty in the world in anyway I can.
