 About Me |
I spent a fair amount of time working in youth empowerment and development, through initiatives of Local ABC4ALL; successfully contributed to raise free basic education for 25 young men and women, who couldn’t afford formal education.
My experience in organizational development helped me to support lifting the profile of over ten local NGO’s in Somaliland, mainly women organization.
I inspire a world where women are having equal access to education and opportunities, an environment that supports young women to fully participate the development and decision making process of her own country.
Aiming to end poverty is not a magic thing that can happen within hours but it needs collective effort and strong commitment, targeting women's rights especially young women can help fasten the process.
Imagine a world where all mothers, sisters, grandmothers, aunts, cousins and wives are treated nicely and with dignity, where their rights to education and participation are met, I am welcoming all those who believe addressing women's right issue will help us achieve a world where hunger is hard to recall.
