Even thought I was born in Hartford, CT; I grew up in the mountains of Puerto Rico. When I was turing 13 my family returned to the states, and now I attend a magnet school in Hartford (although I don't live in Hartford). I am Portuguess, German and Puertorican. Most people don't realize that Puertoricans are the blend of three different races, which are Spanish, Black and Taino (indian), and because people don't relize/reconize this they look at me funny when I say that "within being puertorican I am Taino and Black". Film and Activism are my passions and I'm currently working on a teenage homeless project with a team, which because of my knowlage (sorry, I'm grammaticaly impaired) and expirience with film is having me create a small movie of homeless awareness. Our group is trying to create a school pantry and hopeful - in the long run- create a youth shelter for high school students.
