About Me

Hello everybody, my name is Toks and I'm married with three kids. I am involved in Social Work Research & Public Relations at the moment but do hope to make full-time social work my main occupation with emphasis on marital counselling and school social work. I enjoy watching documentaries, especially wildlife, listening to jazz music and good wine.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in English & Literature from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State in Nigeria and am presently in Lagos State doing research work for the Lagos State Ministry of Youths, Sports & Social Development.
My wife is a full time social worker with the LAgos State Government and I must say that it was she who aroused my interest, with particular interest in school social work.
I think that the greatest trial period for a lot of young adults are the primary and secondary levels of education. Conscious and unconscious decisions founded on ill-advised and half thought-out ideas leave lasting marks on the psyches of these young men and women. We must all take a stand for the things we believe otherwise we realise we never did believe in anything.
