About Me

I am a high school sophomore in Redmond, Washington, who loves to sail, play music, and inspire other teens. Currently, I attend the STEM High School in Sammamish, which focuses on teaching students about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, and am in multiple Advanced Placement courses.
I have also been sailing for eight years and am involved in the NWISA high school sailing program. Our Seattle-area high school team took first place in the 2012 team racing district championships, and we are hoping to do so again, this time with the STEM high school sailing team. My sister and I also hold first place in the 2012 season for the doublehanded Flying Junior division.
I love music, and play the electric guitar and the violin, taking part in our district's junior high honor orchestra in January 2012.
TEDxRedmond is another thing that I take part in as a member of the planning committee. All of us students planning the event are excited for every year's TEDxRedmond youth conference in Redmond, and being on the committee has helped me to take action in inspiring other students. In addition, I am a People to People Student Ambassador Alumni, traveling with them in 2009 as a seventh grader to help strengthen student international bonds.
I attended the 2012 Innovate4Good conference in Redmond as a hopeful teenage entrepreneur, and love being a part of helping our community grow stronger.
