 About Me |
Hey. I'm Chel, native to Colorado. In true Rocky Mountain spirit, my passion is music, followed closely by enviormental conservation and restoration. But those are by no means the full extent of my intrests, though they are at the heart of most of my current work.
I'm in the middle of getting my program off its feet and thus far my heart and soul have been going into that. Basically, its youth on youth consultation about the current state of the biosphere and what can be done to resolve the situation. Long road, I know, but slowly it can happen...
Equal to the ecology in my mind is human rights, along with cultural identitiy. Of all things base and vile...it amazes me what man can do with an uncensored heart and blind eye, and what's more, what man can do with a cause worth fighting for and a strong mind. For human rights I'm not sure what I, or they, or we can do, but not even God can stop me from trying once I figure it out. However, regarding cultural identity, I work daily to promote the preservation and education of culture and how it applies to self. I find that culture and rights go hand-in-hand, as when we know where we come from, we have a better idea of where we need to go.
