 About Me |
I'm a university student, I've been creating artwork independantly of school or folio work since I was 15, and will continue to do so for as long as I am able. Some of my ideas came from books and poetry I've read (Plath, Bauderaire etc) and from music I listened to at the time, mostly PJ Harvey and if you know exactly what I'm talking about maybe you could pick that out. My art teachers never liked what I was doing, I'm not sure about all classes, but he had definate favourites that were mostly charcoal portraits of their model friends and screen stencils of them and their boyfriends kissing and such, what I was doing was "disturbing". Chances are if I was drawing still lifes of flower vases and fruit bowls he would have picked on me for that.
