About me
I'm 16 this year and (since Singapore follows the British system of education) will be taking my GCSE O Levels this year. I hope to be able to make it to a Junior College to study Literature, Drama and Economics. In school I'm the VP of the English Language Drama and Debating Society and am part of the school's debate team.
My hobbies include riding (up to a canter), reading, running/jogging, writing, debating, listening to music (mainly Chinese pop) and joking. Out of all these I would say Joking is my favourite, my favoured style is subtle British wit but it's hard to develope so my most commonly used style is what I call I can 'affected lameness' where I'm basically lame, take things too literally and use affected facial expressions to provoke laughter. Yes, I've developed comedy to a very very strange art. Frankly, none but my close friends can stand it. Well, and my family too, but that's only because they have to.
I like to take time to do research. I basically do research and find out about whatever takes my interest at the moment though my pet subjects are fairytales, folk tales, myths, pranks and more uncommon religions. There was a period of time when I was busy reading up on supernatural happenings and paranormal activity but I ended up scaring myself so much that I couldn't go to sleep without a nightlight. I've since dropped that topic.
I also collect miniatures whenever I can, their fragility and minute detail amaze me. My collection to date doesn't amount to much though, because I keep accidentally breaking them.
Personality wise I don't amount to much. I tend to be a shy recluse when I'm in a crowd or with strangers. I also see myself as very accident-prone. That isn't a very bad thing though, they make up the bulk of my jokes.
And that's it.
