About Me

I am a 7th and 8th grade Social Studies teacher with Springfield School District (Delco). I currently teach Latin American, African, and United States history. I have also taught classes in Criminal and Civil Law, U.S. Government, and Economics.

As a teacher I have incorporated technology into my classroom in many different ways. In addition to PowerPoint presentations, my students have made digital movies, constrycted websites, and gone on webquests and virtual tours.

For the past year and a half my classroom has been involved in a district pilot program where my students have been provided with laptops in class 1:1. This program has given me great experience with classroom management, troubleshooting, and helped me to understand how students react to long term content area laptop usage.

As the Middle School Tech Facilitator I hold a Dell Tech certification and have experience with troubleshooting and repairing Dell desktops and laptops, as well as Lexmark printers.
