About Me |
I am an Educator- Science teacher of 10 years as well as an Environmental Educator Consultant. I have been involved in the Barbados youth Programme for 8 years and has been the Executive Director for the last 5 years.
I have been actively involved in UNESCO ASPnet Programme from 1999 and at present I am the National Caribbean Sea Project (CSP) and Sandwatch Project (SWP) Coordinator.
As the Director of the BEYP I am responsible for programme planning and coordination. One of our biggest achievements to date was holding the first Caribbean Youth Sympisium on the ENvironment in October, 2003. We are looking forward to other islands holding this symposium biannually. One of the outcomes of the CYSE was that Trinidad will host in 2005.
At Present one of our Projects for Mauritus is : Vulnerability of small island States to Hurricanes- Our Environment and Tourism.
