I am a person who is looking to gain a deeper understanding of global issues. I am looking for be of use and improve myself.
I originally come from a small farming community in Saskatchewan, Canada. I am now working in nortern British Columbia.
I am particularly interested in raising my children to be aware and concerned about the 'big picture'. I want to set an example for them as someone who researches issues in depth rather than being content with a superficial view spoon fed by mass media. I want them to use their own minds to to interpret what they see around them and to be equipped to weigh the differing viewpoints of others fairly.
