In mathematics, many scientists came up with the idea that the world we live in is a trick of light. The mathematicians looked at the world with the view that the universe is expanding. In that scenario, the universe has a starting point, the Big Bang. Coming to their conclusion, the math told them that the world and everything we see is a gigantic trick of the passing light. (A hologram in a sense)
How can they prove this event, if they cannot observe the starting point of the universe? But they can in a way.
First, they know some numbers with the observations done in the last 100 years. They tell the speed of light with the colors shown by the galaxies, when observed on earth. Also, some special events in the sky help the observers to calculate more accurate numbers. For example the closest star, the Sun, is bright enough each day to give good details.
Second, to explain it to a human perspective, biology studies are needed. In this case, you will see that the human eye is more of a troublemaker than a helpful organ. So seeing is the problem, because the eye only sees 10% of the image is high definition and the rest of the image is made by the memory system in the brain. Don’t forget that he only absorbs the “reflected” light. In conclusion, the world we see is in two dimensions, but the brain tricks the perception of the universe. (Giving a fake three dimensional world)
Now like any blind person, it’s important to know how to use the other senses. Communication between individuals and to listen what others have to say, are some of the examples to learn. Learning to touch and to feel the environment around people helps to become the Cyclops in the land of the blind, because only he’s King.
