 About Me |
Playshis (aka Plattious) is a hip hop poet born and raised in Windhoek, Namibia. He writes about real life happenings, about what he sees, hears, feels, experiences and observes. He has performed at various platforms in Windhoek. He performs monthly at an event called "Spoken Word" at The Bank Windhoek Theater school in Windhoek and has performed at venues such as Studio 77 and The Warehouse Theater. He has also performed at another local platform called "Floetic Vibes", also based in Windhoek. In 2008 he performed one of his very conscious pieces on national television and he was also invited in 2008 to perform at the high profile annual Gecko Advertising Awards. He has been published twice by The Poetry Institute of Africa and was also featured in the newly started Namibian based "POETREE" monthly publication in December 2008 (as Ryno Julio Platt).
