Tom has had an experience one would describe as a no mean achievement for the youth work and the development work in general. Besides his academic career development, Tom is the Programmes Director and Policy Analyst for Kenya Youth Foundation (KYF). KYF is the National Focal Point for Global Youth Action Network (GYAN) and National Lead Agency for Global Youth Service Day (GYSD). He has steered the demistification of the GYSD principles to a great number of youth and youth organizations in Kenya through his successful chairing of the GYSD National
Coordinating Committee.He has extensive experience in research and development. Due to his great interest in research on socio-economic issues, he serves as a Research and Development Consultant with Insight Research and Development Management Services (IRADMAS), a company which he co-founded. The sky is the limit. He loves to live his life as a positive message to the world just like Mahatma once asserted that 'my life is a message, I live up as a true messenger'.
