Omar has four years of experience in the nonprofit sector, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Cairo University in Egypt.

Omar works currently in Ana Masry Foundation as arts and culture production coordinator in Nahdet ElMahrousa, and he also serves as the Chairman of the Alumni Advisory Board of enactus Cairo University.

Omar worked on various community development programs with several professional organizations, which shaped his passion towards the community. He started as a team member and was gradually appointed leadership positions, taking full responsibility of a whole entity, outstretching to 250+ members,

Working as a project manager for enacts formerly SIFE (Students In Free Enterprise), He was responsible of the Bamboo project. Managing the full cycle of the product, from cultivation to the production of decorative end-products utilizing Egyptian talents, A year after He successfully launched 'El-Dar', formerly branded as 'El-Mastaba', that is considered to be the first cultural center in El-Dahab Island.

While being the Vice-President of SIFE He collaborated with the Green Economy Development Association in El-Minya Governorate in Egypt and he worked closely with the chairperson, introducing the concept of the green productive village, adopting the value chains concept, applying the green economy principles,

Another successful exhibition was being part of 'Alashanek Ya Balady' Research and Development team working on a Youth Development Program. Contributing in the development of an adaptive curriculum tailored to meet the cultural requirements of Egypt's developing regions.

His work in the nonprofit sector allowed him to build a great international network with various organizations also with the Egyptian government, developed his leadership and capacity improvement, and project management skills, Moreover being a law graduate gave him a better understanding for the international laws and policies.
