About Me

Orphans for Christ in Africa is a non-sectarian, non-denominational not-for-profit Word and Deed childcare and development organisation catering for the holistic welfare of HIV/AIDS orphans, Destitute and homeless children, disadvantaged youth and widows in Uganda; regardless of their race, colour, ethnic origin, gender, creed social status, or disability.

We house, feed, clothe, and give medical care,foster care, spiritual teaching and send to school orphans, destitute and homeless children and disadvantaged youth – both boys and girls.

We also seek to provide education, life skills and vocational training, HIV/AIDS counseling, care and support, and assist poor widows initiate, set up and implement community based sustainable income generating projects that have potential for self sustainability. This embraces all the viable micro income generating activities women do to earn a decent living, at individual, group and/or household levels, whether they be agriculture, trade or service. Our Goal is to build both individual as well as community capacities.

Orphans for Christ in Africa welcomes and receives financial and in-kind support in form of gifts, donations, and grants from individuals, families, groups, companies, corporations, organizations, churches, friends and well-wishers from all over the world. We seek to serve the less fortunate members of our society by entering into partnerships with any individuals, families, groups, corporations, Companies, churches or organizations willing to support us and our work without restrictions, in the following areas: holistic childcare and child sponsorships, HIV/AIDS care and support, provision of relief and humanitarian services, provision and development of schools, orphanages, skills and vocational training centers for orphans and disadvantaged children and youth, leadership training; spiritual teaching, guidance and counseling, music and youth programs, marriage and family, HIV/AIDS and to provide assistance and training in the areas of health, agriculture, business, education, and orphans.
