About Me

I come into the next phase of my life with a deep desire to discover wonderful things that can engage my mind and body to pursue life to it’s fullest. I came to discover how important it is to live in the moment somewhat reluctantly over the years. I have found this state of mind in my some of my favourite pursuits and interests. Feeling the movement of my boat while rowing across still waters, finding a deeper breath in a tough yoga pose, and feeling the beat of my heart after running to the top of a hill. These are all moments, which I cherish in my life because they show me how important it is to find internal stillness amidst chaos in order to reach out to the rest of the world. I want to reach out and experience some of the amazing cultures of the world by becoming a part of that culture. I want to share my joy for life and the planet with everyone on it. I enjoy having engaging discussions with people, about books and new ideas. Being “tuned in” to your own body is the first step to being in tune with nature and the world. My background in kinesiology explains my exuberance for physical activity and health, however my own experiences are what define this passion. I take my experiences and skills from the past and move into the future with purpose and clarity. I look forward to experiencing delight and warmth with new people and new places.
