Since October 2003 I am studying Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg (HfbK), since October 2004 in the class of Prof. Marie José Burki. Before going to Hamburg I worked six months as an Intern with german Artist Thomas Struth in Düsseldorf.
From August 2001 I spent nine months travelling in Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador, where I organized my first gallery solo exhibition in 2003 at the Galeria Mirarte in the capital of Ecuador, Quito. Another exhibition of Photographs was shown in 2006 at the Casa Humboldt in Quito and at the Museo Antropológico y de Arte Contemporáneo (MAAC) Cine in Guayaquil.
I recently approved my pre-diploma in Fine Arts with an exhibition at the HfbK Hamburg in February 2007.
My main interests are working with analog photography and the creation of Works which evoke a context between the spectator and place/ room they are exposed at/ in. Recent works contain moving pictures.
