 About Me |
I live in a divided country where hate is an everyday phenomenon. Greek and Turkish Cypriots still refuse to live together, even after the opening of the borders. I love my country and I want this problem to be solved, I want people to live in peace with each other. I believe that if we reach out to the "others" and give them a chance, try and get to know them, we ll realise that they are just as human as we are. Reapprochement seems to be fashionable these days, but the problem still exists. The stereotypes and the hate still exist.
I study primary school education and I want to change the world, starting from children. The future is in their hands. I want to take my MA in peace education next year and work with children and youth towards peace.
