Born in Gutu. Zimbabwe. Holder of an MSc in Geo Information Science and Earth Observation for Environmental Modeling and Management offered by a consortium of the University of Southampton (UK), Lund University (Sweden), Warsaw University (Poland), and the International Institute for Geo-information Science and Earth Observation (ITC-Nearthelands). This course was funded by the prestigeous Erasmus Mundus Programme of the European Union. I have a BSc Honours degree in Geography and Environmental Science (Midlands State University,Gweru,Zimbabwe). Currently am completing a Diploma in Water Supply and Sanitation under the auspice of IWSD. Experiences as a Youth: Research in the environmental sector. 1:Undergraduate:Leader for Zimbabwe Environmental Society. 2:Steering the Lower Mupfure Integrated Water Resources Management under the auspices of Global Water Partnership. 3:Research fellow, Department of Geography, University of Zimbabwe. Hydrological Modelling of Zimbabwean Catchments. 4: Ecologist at Environmental Management Agency. 5: Conferences: Afuture with Zero CO2 Emission;Stockolm Sweden. Human Rights Advocay Workshop: Nairobi Kenya Regional Consultative Forum on Water Supply & Sanitation. Harare Zimbabwe IASTED Conference on Water Resources Management 2008 I have worked with many civic organisation groups in Zimbabwe,particularly YET(Youth Empowerment and Transformation), Zimbabwe Young Christian Students which i saved as a president for two terms of office (4years), National Movement of Catholic Students, ICMICA, Pan African Team IYCS. Currently i am working for Africa Insitute of South Africa, spearheading the production of knowldge about Africa and promoting awareness on Africa for Africa and the International Community. This is achived through independent policy analysis, collection,processing,interpretation and dissemination of information. The vehicle used is non other than GIS and Remote Sensing.
