 About Me |
My name is Natalie Chickee
I am a creative person and I have a great application for Culture, Social Justice and Creative Change. I am a multi media artist and I love to be creative always.
I am part of a group that is Coordinating the African Diaspora Youth Conference at the University of Windsor. So i want to share with you some of the wonderful aspects about this boarder city community that I call home.
Detroit/Windsor was the last stop on the Underground Railroad! There is a very rich culture here surrounding emancipation and freedom that is a historic memory for all people of African Decent.
My bordering communities also has a rich musical history That I embrace. I contribute creativity, over the airwaves on CJAM 91.5 FM. I have a weekly radio show called "Music D'Art". I search locally and globally, to create an eclectic mix, celebrating the facets of artistic sounds across culture and genre; I share good music over the airwaves.
