I'm originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Solidarity, Social Action and Equality were concepts that were central in my education growing up in an utterly socialist-oriented country where the vast majority of the population strive to make ends meet while they dream of the festive carnival as a cathartic moment to relieve the pressure created by dire socio-economic disparities. Due to circumstances, by choice or simply by a travel bug, I ended up living in many different places all over the world and learned different languages and cultures that opened my eyes and the molotov cocktail that came out of those experiences is having a very clear idea of the potential people have to make things happen and change systems. And that clarity may be the biggest bomb for many oppression-based socio-economic and political systems! Shalom, Salam, Peace And Power to the People! :)
